'During The Storm We Steel Our Red Hearts' is an installation with videoloop and soundtrack of about 30 minutes. The relief in the foreground is based on a propaganda poster from the Cultural Revolution in China. Stripped of their context, the hands are still building a better imaginary future for the world. These elements are combined with pieces of ambient nature video's found on youtube and text taken from fossil-fuel-company advertisements. "During The Storm" invites viewers to meditate on three different utopian visions and question their similarites and differences.
