Diego Latruwe (born 1990, Knokke-Heist) lives and works in Ghent.

Digital techniques and found materials form the building blocks of Diego Latruwe’s practice. With a background in drawing and printmaking, but captivated by the potential of the virtual, he explores how processes like 3D printing and 3D scanning challenge our perception. Over the years, traditional techniques have begun to merge with digital methods, blurring the lines between the two. In his videos, sculptures, and paintings, Latruwe repurposes collected images and objects to visualize our collective desire for beauty and meaning.
